Worship Guide - Common Concerns
“I would just die if they made me stand up and say something.” We are not here to embarrass you. We want you to feel comfortable and at home with us. We want you to enjoy your worship. We will do all we can to help you learn about your Savior. Please do take the opportunity to introduce yourself to others and to the pastors if they did not get a chance to talk to you before entering.
“My child is going to be noisy.” We encourage you to bring your children to worship. If you feel they are distracting you, feel free to use our “Family Room” which is in the church entrance. There will be a broadcast of the service for you in that room.
“I'll feel out of place.” Whenever you go to a new surrounding, it’s natural to feel out of place. Hopefully this website will ease some of your concerns. But don’t feel bad about telling someone that you’re new and may need some help. They will be happy to do so. We all were new at one point.
“I don't know much about this religion thing.” We want to help you grow in your knowledge of the Bible and faith in Jesus. Worship is one way to do that. We also encourage you to join us for Christian Education hour at 9:10 on Sundays. Just feel free to come and listen.
“I can't find my way around this church.” — Always feel free to ask for directions.
“I see people attending Holy Communion. Should I go?” Out of love for you and love for God's Word, we would ask that you not come up until we have had an opportunity to talk about it.
