Worship this Week:

The worship emphasis this weekend is “Our King Comes to Us“ as we remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to begin Holy Week. Our lessons will be Zechariah 9:9-10, Psalm 24, Philippians 2:5-11, & Mark 11:1-10. Hosanna to the King!

Sunday’s Spiritual Growth Highlights:

Here is our schedule for the Bible Classes for all ages (children, teens & adults) between the Sunday services.

  • Sunday JAM:
  • Teens: School Issues
  • Adult Class: After a two week break our study on the Augsburg Confession resumes this Sunday.

Highlight For This Week

  • Your Input Is Needed—Special meetings were held after the services last weekend regarding a possible effort to reduce our church’s debt so we can lift higher Jesus’ cross. Thanks to all who came and gave your reaction and input to our leaders! If you haven’t yet, please complete the brief survey that’s inside the special mailing you received. The survey may also be completed on our website. The survey deadline is March 29. Your thoughts matter!
  • Easter For Kids Is Coming—As part of their class on evangelism with Pastor Mahnke, the seniors of Northland Lutheran High School are hosting an Easter for Kids event on Saturday, March 28, for children ages 4-10 from 9-11:30 am. Parents, sign up your child in the entryway at church, or call Northland at 359-3400.
  • Showing Christian Love—Thanks to all who have donated food, money, etc to help a family of our congregation. There is a great need for help with childcare during the day. If you can help, please contact Carol Raczek at #409-0262.
  • Easter Breakfast—The Family Ministry Board welcomes donations for the breakfast on Easter Sunday. See the bulletin board in the church entryway to see how you can help. Thanks!
  • Teacher Call Meeting—A congregational meeting will be held between services on April 12 to extend a Divine Call for a kindergarten teacher for our St Peter Lutheran School. All confirmed members are encouraged to attend!
